This land turtle pendant features a green Florentine dichroic glass back set in sterling silver, complete with a stamped edge trim. The design is three-dimensional, showcasing detailed legs and measuring 1 1/8” long by ¾” wide. This unique piece was created using kiln-fused dichroic glass meticulously cut and shaped to represent the turtle’s shell. The sterling silver components were crafted from sheet metal and formed to shape the head and legs. A bezel wire was then fashioned to fit the dichroic glass and soldered to the pendant body. Finally, the dichroic glass was securely set in the sterling silver bezel, and the pendant was attached to a sterling silver chain, which is included with this item.
