Copper dichroic-mica poinsettia (or a fern) leaves are fused with red dichroic glass over white opaque glass 14mm half-rounds. The glass gems are kiln-fused with integral fine steel wires for added durability and 1.5-mm loops for handmade 15-mm sterling silver long ear wires with 2-mm loops. The finished earrings, with long wires, are 2.9-cm (1.14 or 1 5/32”) long and 1.4-cm (.55 or 9/16”) wide.
